3. Can you briefly share your Journey
into Filmmaking?
My journey into filmmaking began from the stage. From primary school through university at Ajayi Crowther University, I had a deep love for drama and storytelling. A major turning point was meeting the son of veteran filmmaker Antar Laniyan, under whom I was trained professionally for about five to six years.
4. How did you transition from Secular films to Gospel Films?
Although I initially trained in faithbased film making, I later switched to secular films during my university years.
I acted in productions such as Final Contest and later gained wider recognition in Funke Akindele’s Ayetoro Town.
After years in the seculars pace, God began redirecting me back to gospel filmmaking with clarity and
conviction.
5. What was the major Turning Point that confirmed your call into gospel filmmaking?
My defining moment came through a life-altering encounter with God, where He restored my life and redirected my purpose.
Shortly after sharing my testimony online, I was divinely connected to Daddy Okeowo, who cast me in Aftermath (now Honeymoon). That experience confirmed my call into gospel film making.
6. What challenges did you face
during this transition, and how did God help you overcome them?
Transitioning into the gospel space was challenging. I faced confusion, unfamiliar terrain, and overwhelming advice. I had to retreat, seek God deeply, and find my own divine template. That season helped me grow spiritually and emotionally.
7. How has obeying God’s call affected your life, ministry and career?
Obeying God has transformed every area of my life, though obedience comes with sacrifices and misunderstanding, it has brought clarity, direction, and
lasting fulfillment.
8. What lessons has this journey taught you about Purpose and obedience?
Purpose fuels endurance. Even when results seem slow, knowing that lives are being impacted gives strength.
Purpose demands sacrifice and removes fake relationships, leaving room for genuine growth.
9. In your opinion, what is the role of Gospel Films?
Gospel films must educate, correct wrong narratives, and model godly alternatives. Film making is one of the strongest evangelism tools of this generation, and the gospel must take its place in shaping culture.

grounded in ministry and purpose?
Philippians 4:13, Micah 7:8, Isaiah
40:31, Galatians 3:3.

In God’s kingdom, fame is replaced with honor, influence, and fruitfulness. Seek purpose success will follow.
